Mushroom and Cheese Sauce Pasta



Ingredients


2 cups bow pasta

1 Tablespoon butter

1 Tablespoon all purpose flour

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 cups mushrooms, sliced

2 Tablespoons tomato paste

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated

1/2 cup milk

Directions


Cook pasta according to package directions.
Set large saucepan over medium heat.
Add butter, flour and garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until soft.
Add mushrooms and salt. Turn up heat. Cook for a few minutes.
Cook until liquid has almost evaporated.
Stir in sour cream and cheese until cheese is melted.
Stir in milk and tomato paste until evenly combined.
Let thicken 3-4 minutes then reduce heat.
Stir in cooked pasta.
